Appliance Shipping Policy
Depending on the appliance product you purchased, the shower or whirlpool unit will be shipped on a single pallet with 1-4 wooden crates which will protect your unit from damage.
We ship via common carrier ground freight truck within Canada or the continental United States. We will ship your unit on a pre-arranged schedule with you after your initial order is received with confirmation the unit is available, or when it likely will be. You should receive your unit within 7-10 days after leaving our warehouse assuming there are no delays with the shipping company or with any weather conditions.
All shipments will be curbside delivery to the provided ship to address or to nearest trucking terminal for pickup as agreed upon by purchaser. Upon arrival of the unit, it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect it for any obvious signs of potential external damage to the shipment and take photos if there is a concern. Please make note of the Bill of Lading # for future reference. When you sign accepting delivery, please note “Damaged” by your signature, whether electronic or paper document. Contact the shipper within 24 hours to report your concern and email your photos to us for further instructions.

If the unit delivery is signed without notation, it is considered acceptance of the delivery in good condition. We will have no recourse with the carrier for settling any damage insurance claim. If the shipment is a complete disaster and severely damaged when it arrives, refuse to accept it, and advise us, again with pictures of the unit while still on the truck. If the unit arrives with some damage, we will replace the unit/parts upon availability of replacement unit or parts that are damaged. Damaged shipments are a rarity, our carrier is quite efficient at providing their service.
Typically, multi crate shipments are strapped, wrapped, and screwed together as well as screwed to the pallet to insure safe delivery while on board trucks. The consignee will need to remove these screws to separate the crates and maneuver them individually into their garage, or home. Each crate has an individual gross weight printed on the model detail label. They can be heavy, awkward and do contain tempered glass.
It is important that you inspect your package contents. Please open each carefully and keep the crate and packaging in its original form. Although unlikely, if the package contents are damaged, you may have to put the contents back in the original packaging to prevent further damage during transport back to our warehouse.
PLEASE DO NOT WAIT WEEKS OR MONTHS TO OPEN YOUR SHIPMENT. PLEASE INSPECT THE CONTENTS WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY, EVEN IF YOU WILL NOT BE INSTALLING THE UNIT RIGHT AWAY. ALL INTERNAL DAMAGES OR DEFECTS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE. IF NOT, THEY WILL BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY POLICY.
Appliance and related parts Purchase Terms
The purchaser of the shower, whirlpool bathtub or sauna unit accepts full responsibility and liability for its proper use, operation, installation, and suitability of the unit for the space requirement. The seller will provide technical specifications, manuals, and general instructions. The purchaser is responsible for any installation cost and providing those items required to connect the unit to their home, such as water lines, electrical breakers, and drain requirements. The purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the seller, its officers and employees from any claims, actions, lawsuits, judgments, or liability arising from the use of this product. By purchasing this item, the purchaser agrees to the above conditions of this sale and absolves the seller, its officers, and employees of all liability regardless of its origin in the use of this product.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check if these units will comply with their State, Province, and/or country codes. All appliances are CSA / ETL certified for North America.
Prices, pictures, descriptions, and content on our website are subject to change without notice. Pictures are not necessarily to scale. Additional descriptive pictures of our units may not have been taken of the specific model, but some are universal pictures that act as a reference for several models.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders with return of payment at discretion of Perfectbath.com and without compensation.
Shipping costs for flat rate parts items are for most addresses in Canada and the continental USA. We reserve the right to charge fees to cover actual shipping costs in the event shipping costs exceed the flat rate fees charged. If there are any extra fees, the purchaser will be notified before shipping of any additional fees. If extra shipping fees are not acceptable, the order may be cancelled, and full funds returned to the purchaser.
Returns/Exchanges
You can return items bought from PerfectBath.com (o/o Beauty Saunas and Baths) within 20 days of the ship date when it leaves our warehouse, as long as it was not installed or attempted to be installed.
Note that Electrical components are not returnable. If an electronic part appears to be defective, notify us and we will authorize a return for exchange only. Once the return has been received, we will assess if it is defective. If we find it to be, we will ship an identical replacement component free of charge. If the item is assessed as not defective, we will advise the customer and return the component.
No refund will be issued.
Toilet seats for health reasons, are not returnable if removed from plastic packaging.
To qualify for a return, the customer must contact us for a return authorization before sending. Any returns received without an RMA authorization # will be rejected. Requests for return must be made within 30 days from the original order ship date. Please ensure that the item is in its original condition (including packaging, manuals, accessories, original crate, etc.). The RMA# must be clearly written on the outside of the master carton.
No Returns will be accepted if not in original Packaging. We must receive your item back within 30 days of the RMA issue date. Please allow us 3 – 5 business days from the time we receive the return to process your refund. You will be responsible for shipping costs to and from our warehouse for returns. A minimum 30% Restocking Fee will be applied to all returns unless the wrong product was originally shipped to the customer in error. In such cases we will gladly cover the costs to provide you the right product delivered to you.
Due to the high risk of damage when shipped back to our location, you must package the product the same way you received it including any shrink wrap, tape, and foam packing. This will help prevent any damage coming back to us. Damaged products, contents received due to poor packaging may result in a refusal of return or additional restocking fees may be applied.
NOTE: All US and Foreign orders must be returned through your local POSTAL system. Customs declaration should be “Defective Return – Value $1.00”.Any customs charges or fees for return duty, brokerage or taxes will be deducted from the refund.
For your protection, we suggest all returns be sent back by a traceable carrier. The customer must pay all costs related to original shipping and return shipping even if shipping was free. After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, we will reimburse your credit card for the purchase price of the item, less the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and any applied restocking fee. A restocking fee of up to 30% may be applied to all returns or a greater fee, if products are used, not packaged properly, etc.
For refunds on purchases made with a credit card, we will issue a refund to the same credit card used to make the purchase. If you pay using a different method, a refund will be provided using the same payment method.
